Fountain restaurant’s stunning interior and mouth-watering menu caters for all
Steak lovers of Twickenham can now rejoice – The Beefeater has reopened its doors following some exciting changes.
The restaurant, on Corner Sixth Cross & Staines Road, has undergone a stunning makeover to create a light and welcoming environment for guests. The venue boasts a fresh look inside and out, with booth seating now available for larger groups. With comfort and style a priority for Beefeater, visitors can now enjoy the modern interior and relax in the new-look bar.
With strong family values at the forefront of the business, the menu is jam-packed with a wide range of favourites, including tender steaks, mouth-watering burgers and fresh salads. Guests can also tuck into Beer-Battered Cod & Chips, Smothered Chicken and the Beefeater Mixed Grill, each prepared with care and presented with flare. In addition, Beefeater is now offering unlimited skinny or triple cooked chips with selected main meals.
Despite the restaurant’s sparkling new image, familiar faces will be on-hand to cater to guests’ every needs.

We have spent a lot of time working on the presentation of the new look to give our guests the wow factor. Our Gaynor Sharp, resident restaurant critic of the TTBA went to try out the new look Beefeater and this is what she has to say about her very enjoyable experience:
“When we first walked in The Fountain I immediately noticed the new décor made it brighter than previously. The manager was on the restaurant reception and gave us a warm welcome then showed us to our table. The tables were laid out so that you did not feel you were sitting on top of other people.
We were then greeted by our waitress Gemma who was very cheery and polite and told us our chef was Polly and her recommendation was the ribs.
There was a good selection of starter dishes but we opted not to have one preferring to have a sweet.
I chose the Calves liver and Bacon which was cooked just right and the liver melted in my mouth.
My friend had the Sticky Bourbon BBQ Ribs which were recommended and they didn’t disappoint they were tender and the meat fell off the bones.
The men both chose Beer-battered Haddock & Chips with mushy peas which they both enjoyed.
I was wrapping up the rib bones in my serviette to take home for my dogs, when our waitress Gemma spotted me and went and got me some foil and a bag to put them in. I had happy dogs when I got home!
For pudding I had the Mississippi Mud Pie, my friend had a Cookie Dough Sundae and our husbands had the Salted Toffee Apple Crumble with Custard all of which we enjoyed very much.
We enjoyed the evening the atmosphere was charming and the staff friendly and helpful, the food well cooked and served well , will definitely be returning”
