TWICKENHAM GIRL WINS NATIONAL AWARD FOR LOYALTY

A nine year old girl from Twickenham has been crowned a national award winner after being nominated by her proud parents for her unwavering loyalty.

Parents across the country were asked to nominate their real-life little heroes in the annual awards. The awards – each based on the heroic pups from the much-loved Nick Jr. TV show produced by Spin Master Entertainment; champion children who deserve to be recognised for the challenges they have faced and how they have touched the lives of others.

Tyler’s mum, Donna, nominated her for the Marshall Award for Loyalty, saying: “I am severely disabled and Tyler has acted as my carer since she was a little girl. She helps me with so much, from getting dressed to helping with her baby sister and even pushing my wheelchair. She was recently diagnosed with autism which has caused some difficulties for her but she is as loyal as ever and a brilliant daughter and big sister. I’m so proud she has won this award, she really deserves it.”

Tyler and her family will now attend an exclusive awards ceremony with her seven fellow winners. The awards will be held at The Park Plaza Hotel Westminster Bridge, where the winners will enjoy a two-night luxury stay. They will attend a celebration tea, with special guests including some of their favourite PAW Patrol characters.

All winners are also being treated to an exclusive VIP shopping event at Hamleys toy store on the Sunday morning, including vouchers so they can pick out their favourite goodies before the store opens!

In addition to such a fun-packed weekend, all winners will also receive tickets to Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool Pleasure Beach or Nickelodeon Adventure at intu Lakeside and Gloworm Festival next summer!

Charlotte Yates from Spin Master, who organised the awards, said: “We were overwhelmed with all of the entries, and it was a tough choice, but these eight winners stood out for us in the end.”

Daniel Thompson from Nickelodeon added: “We want to thank everyone for taking the time to write about all their little Heroes because every single one of the entries was special – we would have loved for everyone to win.”
